Our volunteers are an essential part of our outreach efforts. Whether assisting with community outreach events, food distribution, worship services, administrative support, special events, or seasonal programs, every volunteer helps us make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.

Volunteer Expectations
We ask all volunteers to:

Demonstrate respect, compassion, and professionalism while serving.

Support the mission and values of Church Outside the Church Outreach Ministries.

Maintain the confidentiality of and dignity of those we serve.

Arrive on time and communicate promptly if you are unable to serve as scheduled.

Work cooperatively with ministry leadership, staff and fellow volunteers.
Volunteer Screening
Because we serve children, families, seniors, and other vulnerable populations, the safety of those we serve is priority.
Certain volunteer positions require:

A completed Volunteer Application

Criminal Background Check

Three-Year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review for volunteers who transport individuals or operate a vehicle on behalf of the ministry

Additional screening or orientation, when applicable.
A background check does not automatically disqualify an applicant. Each application is reviewed individually based on the responsibilities of the volunteer position and the ministry's commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
